+If the kingdom is in us already, don't just think of it being within yourself. It is within everybody, even your most problematic neighbor. Your responsibility is to bring it out, by openness to surprise. Expect it and trust in it; then it will emerge. Through such interactions, we become human.

Religious imagery often refers to this treasure as the diamond within us. In every facet, the diamond within you reflects all the other diamonds, with all their facets. You can sink down into your true Self and live according to this beautiful pattern. In this way the new creation, already present, unfolds.
