Religious Harmony
One of the most reliable routes to world peace is for people to share their sacred experiences without getting snarled in religious divisions. Each religion has a unique bouquet of love, harmony, and beauty. Taken all together, these varied bouquets bring a powerful healing fragrance to our world. Here is your place to offer to others encounters with the Divine nearest to your heart.

Meditation is very much a standard of my daily spiritual practice. Nature is always my mental focus....sometimes in a wooded area, other times near a body of water or a field of wildflowers. Time can pass so fast in what just seems like a few minutes. Lovely!

my moment, like all my moments are connected with the simple things, petting my cat , rocking my grandchild, but am completely aware and grateful . I will consciously say "I am so truly grateful for this moment of, beauty, calm ,and awareness." I will say thank you inside in my inner being, but I will also exclaim it out loud. one of those moments for me , was finding this site . Thank you for reminding me on a daily basis that there is hope for man , and the human condition.

All the beautiful words from all the different religions came to mind. They say love is the most important. Compassion and gratitude make loveing easier.

For many years my inner soul had been so unsettled, lost, and I felt ungrounded until I began to study the readings of Buddhisum and the importance of being in the present moment, being mindful of self ALL living beings and creatures. Meditation also has helped heal my body as well. Blessings and peace be to all humans around the world!! Hannah SW Florida

My reflection was on the moments when I center in the now and actually felt the different parts of my body, my scalp, eye lids and forehead. Now just being aware that they exist but feeling them. I have been trying to do this as part of my meditation without much success but today it just happened.

being at taize , hearing so many different voices especially the booming basses singing in praise and gratitude, God can only give faithful love tenderness and forgiveness, sitting on a rock facing out to sea eyes closed and using my senses to feel the hard cold rock, the wind and sun against my face, climbing to the top of a hill on an island pilgrimage and looking at the world upside down, calling to the sea at night in a moment of madness with a fellow seeker

My reflection was when I first saw each of my spiritual teachers in person. It confirmed to the cynic in me a little more each time that goodness and holiness do exist in this world and hope in possible.

My reflection was in the peace of the moment, as if I was protected by an outerforce that surrounded my human essence in grateful thanks for that moment, for the serene peace that at that moment that exquisite moment my spiriuality and humaness became inert

My reflection was on the moments when I center in the now and time seems not to exist. Smelling the air, listening to the birds, staring at the fire. I am fully present and all that matters is everything in the experience.

My reflection was of childhood days. I have a lasting summertime memory of laying in my swimsuit on the little jetty (dock) not far from our home on a small island. The sun was shining and felt so soothing on my body...the dock bobbed gently in the water. Overhead I cold hear the seagulls and nearby the sounds of waves lapping on the shore. Nothing could interrupt the peace of that moment and it filled me again with a much needed peace as I revisited that memory. I am always refreshed and touched by the spirit of God as I experience the peace of nature. Gentle peace is mine...and God knows I seek it still. I am grateful for this moment of centering and remembering...and feeling.
