Peacemaking
The violence that surrounds us gives us a new reason for gratefulness: It forces us to find non-violent responses. Yet, this can be a formidable task. Therefore we need to help one another and tell one another about our struggles and successes. May the peace that begins here radiate out to all beings.

I hope I can overcome a fear by being grateful, naming this fear and being truthful to myself and others. I hope I achieve this.

Thank you smmr of RI USA; your message in March helped me identify how I feel. I'm so glad about this site. I hope I can spread peace better now by being more peaceful myself.

The worries were so many, resentments piling up, economy, family stuff, until I did the meditations here. I see.. right now, this minute, I see. Nothing is wrong right now. All is perfect and good right now. All we have is now and I joyfully and gratefully receive this wonderful gift that can change a heart in a mere instant.

The great gift of these times is that despite upheavals, or because of them, I can start to realize in what a precious world I live. The smile of my granddaughter or a man in the street. Notwithstanding the setbacks we are still facing. The destruction of value in Wall Street, the loss of a very dear relationship. All these and other events can also remind me to return to the beauty of the Earth and all its inhabitants. It just takes a few moments of reflection a few times a day!

I had a very nasty neighbor and she had to go to a nursing home for dementia. I now have a lovely lady who calls to check on me, keeps her yard immaculate. Her husband divorced her and now he wants to come back. He realized his mistake. She will not take him back. After 40 years of the nasty neighbor I am so thankful for this lady.

I am working to find peace with my daughter and someone with whom a relationship just ended. I am grateful as well for signs I receive in my day to day life to help me find answers and keep devotion and faith.

I am grateful for the signs that are given to me showing me where I am going and I am grateful for the lessons along the way that teach me I am loved by so many people. Thank you GOD for all the ANGELS along the way who are always there when I need them!

I am striving to find peace with and compassion for neighbors who are behaving very unkindly. I am meditating to be grateful amidst it all and be free of resentment.
