Peacemaking
The violence that surrounds us gives us a new reason for gratefulness: It forces us to find non-violent responses. Yet, this can be a formidable task. Therefore we need to help one another and tell one another about our struggles and successes. May the peace that begins here radiate out to all beings.

Welcome to "Peacemaking" message board! Peace be with you.

I find it hard to keep my peace of mind in the face of criticism and harsh words. Even when they are untrue, part of me wonders how someone can say them if they are not true. I slip out of peace and have to find my way back with the help of angels and spirits.

With God all things are possible. May people of faith of all religions pray that God will transform Saddam Hussein and Kim Song-il as He did Paul, according to his will and way. With love in Christ to all people. BWB

Gratefulness and the pursuit of peace go hand in hand. Peace poles bring peace to the public's attention. A new design is a peace pole mailbox for home installation if a traditional peace pole is not feasible! http://www.peacepoles.com

Please continue to pray for the miracle of peace: it's working! The horror of war has been forestalled thus far and our prayers can unite in great power and persuasiveness. God will hear us!

May this message of peace reach around the world and bring hope to all. My prayer is that I bring peace to my world and I only reach out to another in peace. My dream is that if each of us does this, peace can be a reality.

I just returned from a Peace Vigil, one of 6000+held around the world. We felt solidarity with all the others praying for peace tonight, carrying the light of hope. I am grateful to all who organized these vigils.

Tonight, I heard about this website on New Dimensions, the wonderful NPR show hosted by Micheal Toms. And I heard the gratefulness of Brother David. I'm so thankful. His words helped me recover some of my equilibrium - for I was SO angry at Bush! Now, along with some of those who lit candles for Bush and our leaders, I will try to be at peace rather than angry. I'm grateful I received this message when I most needed it. Laura

Dear friends, I have been through many responses to today's events on the world scene. Today qualifies as a world event(scenario, drama, crisis) because so many peoples of the world are focused on impending war and the feelings are passionate. Much is being stirred Take heart dear friends! There is a rising tide of consciousness. We have only to continue connecting with each other and creating, out of mind and heart, a new world. Let's start from the highest spiritual principles and with bright new visions. Let our work be a celebration of the wonderful possibilities to think anew about what will best serve life. It all needs to be redone. Those who have reversed their consciousness can see clearly how. Let's join minds and usher in the renaissance. I pray we will continue to grow into the ability and capacity to live from divine guidance consciously and fully.

Images haunt me: Mothers in Iraq, cradling sick and starving children, loving them as do mothers 'round the world... as they await our terrifying attack. I ache for the imminent loss (and repercussions)all of us now face. But, as I weep, I wish: "Universe Divine, help them heal... beyond the bombs, the graves." In that simple act, I am no longer imprisoned, for I am DOING SOMETHING. In that simple blessing of peace, I find -- at last -- grace.
