Grateful Living
In the ground beneath an ant hill stretches a vast network of tunnels, teaming with ants. Our world is teaming with grateful people, and this website is merely a little ant hill sticking out into cyberspace. The ants work on their project in silence, but we have the gift of language. Let's use this to share the insights, questions, joys, or difficulties we encounter in our daily practice of gratitude. Thus, we will build our project: a Network for Grateful Living.

I am grateful, I am grateful for this life time. Everything, from the moment of conception the genetic heritage and the emotional and mental patterns to Now! I can embrace in love my mother and my father. I am grateful that I can feel grateful like this. Such a healing! I am grateful for my children, husband(s), family, friends, clients, neighbors and all the people that i will have the chance to meet even when it is challenging. I am grateful to have such a blessed spiritual connections that are the real support to go beyond my body-mind, into silent being. May all beings be happy.

I am so grateful for the unconditional love of my family. They are my foundation. I'm grateful to know this love (for them) that has no bounds. I am grateful I have had almost 19 years under the same roof as them. And I am grateful for the new beginnings I will have under my own roof, without them. I am grateful that the pain of being lonely doesn't roll off my back, like water on feathers. I am grateful hurt is sticky, because when the time is right, I will know what gift is inside that stinging mess and be glad that it has stuck to me. I am grateful that I had the courage to stand up for what is right today because with that action I was able to get a pamphlet which has added so much value for my life including leading me to this site. I am so very grateful for my life, my family and the blessing God had bestowed on me. I am grateful that God opened His arms to me after having been lost for such a loong time. I'm grateful this morning for waking up and being able to turn to this site to focus my thoughts and my heart. I'm grateful for my profound lack of sleep (new baby) because it will teach me to be grateful for something so simple as sleep! And all of its restorative power. I'm also grateful for my new baby who is asking me to be the very best person I can be every day (even though I'm sure I always come up short, I'm trying trying.) She is making me see myself in a new light, a clearer light, so that I may grow as she grows and become the model of the woman I would like her to be (and to know in me.) Thank you, God.

I am grateful to God for this evening, my three beautiful children (18, 15, and 4 ----)all from the same husband of 25 yrs. whom I am the most grateful for. We (my husband and I) have been anticipating a job offer (for him) that we both very much wanted, for quite some time. As of 2/29/08, we found out that (at least for now) it will not occur. Although sad by the lack of opportunity the potential job offered, I realize that we are meant to be where we are for now. I am comfortable with God's will, not mine, being done. He knows best and I am most grateful for His grace shown to me, although I don't deserve it. God bless all of you.
