Grateful Living
In the ground beneath an ant hill stretches a vast network of tunnels, teaming with ants. Our world is teaming with grateful people, and this website is merely a little ant hill sticking out into cyberspace. The ants work on their project in silence, but we have the gift of language. Let's use this to share the insights, questions, joys, or difficulties we encounter in our daily practice of gratitude. Thus, we will build our project: a Network for Grateful Living.

I am grateful for every opportunity God give to me to develop more patience as I meet my every day experiences. I am praying that I may remember always to focus upon the attainment of this virtue.

I am grateful for the holy and mysterious power of life, managing all essential things in me and around me, every moment, now.

I am truly amazed and grateful at my body's ability to create a hospitable home and acceptance of my transplanted kidney for 38 years. This has been my 'sacred illness' which has taught me so much about life and living.

I am grateful to have discovered this wonderful space where gratefulness is expanded and shared in so many ways. Learning about te wonders of my body andits connection to te whole of creation has blwn me away. As someone who hasn't always treated my body well I have reslved to follow the gratefullnes plan as a meditation, on arising ,at mealtimes, and before I sleep.

I am grateful for being truly loved for 12 plus years by my soulmate/husband -who died on Dec. 23,2007 but whose love still sustains me when life gets rough . Also for my daughter 's love -who has helped me through this difficult time & has helped me become stronger again & realize life is still worth living & beautiful !

I am grateful for the lessons I am learning from our Father. The loss of my husband and the absence of my daughter in my life has put me on my knees begging for forgiveness and has renewed my faith in the Lord. I don't take the simple things in life for granted anymore. I am grateful for the food I eat, the roof over my head and all the basic needs which are met. I do not wish I had more material things in my life. I lost everything I owned, my husband died, my daughter was taken from me. I couldn't see how blessed I was. I can now. The little things in life ARE the BIG things.

I am grateful for the resiliency of our great Mother Earth. For her strength and companionship with not only all the living things surrounding her, but for her relationship with Mother Moon. I am grateful for my loving and devoted husband and that I am able to breath in and out even on the days my soul feels crushed. Thanks for giving me a place to say these things.

I have so many things to be greatful for. first off is my health and the health of my loved ones. Being a nurse this is very important to me. I see suffering all around and i feel very blessed that we are well. I am greatful for the love of my family, for waking up each day and having food, running water etc,,, i have a job that i love and good friends. I am happy that when someone has a problem that i can listen well and give loving advice. I try to be open -minded and maintain a good sense of humor. I love to laugh..be joyful..life is too short..

I am grateful for my amazing body that carries me faithfully around all day. I am grateful for the cells that routinely fight off infection. I am grateful for the awareness of how beautiful and perfect this is.
