Every year, thousands of loving pets identified as "pit bulls" are killed. Not just because of winding up in an animal shelter and running out of time, but also due to bans enacted in their community. Breed Specific Legislation is responsible for murdering thousands of innocent dogs and, as the madness of this ineffective legislature is sweeps our country, there will be thousands more of its victims to be mourned.
